I'm interested in the messy layer where technology meets people and organizations. I write about adoption friction, unrealistic expectations, the mythos that animate the tech industry, and practical ways for regular folks to approach novel tech.

I think AI should be treated as technology, not mythology. That means asking who benefits and what actually works.

I'm Jabari Allen, founder of Luminovus Tech, a Voice AI consulting firm. I have a decade of experience across various corners of the tech landscape, from consumer hardware to SaaS to emerging technologies like cellular IoT and Voice AI. But always at the intersection of people and complex systems.

I'm driven by a sense of wonder about how things work and why they sometimes don't, and how to make them better. You’ll find me writing about how these tools fit into our work and our lives, and my attempts at how to help others do the same.
